The alternative route is via B2085 Glassenbury Road, A229 Hartley Road/Angley Road/Wilsley Green/Wilsley Pound, A262 Goudhurst Road and vice versa.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
