Because of a new drainage connection, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A229 The Common and Frittenden Road, Cranbrook, on or after 6th February 2023 until 19th February 2023 or until the works have been completed. The road will be closed outside Angley Farm. The alternative route is via B2085 Glassenbury Road, A229 Hartley Road/Angley Road/Wilsley Green/Wilsley Pound, A262 Goudhurst Road and vice versa.
