Because of a new drainage connection, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A229 The Common and Frittenden Road, Cranbrook, on or after 6th February 2023 until 19th February 2023 or until the works have been completed.
A229 The Common will be closed between Eagles and Oakland and Frittenden Road between A229 The Common and Common Road.
The alternative route for A229 The Common is via A229 Wilsley Pound, A262 Sissinghurst Road, Common Road and vice versa.
The alternative route for Frittenden Road is via Common Road, A229 The Common and vice versa.
The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while works are undertaken by Brookworth Homes Limited.
