PLANNING APPLICATIONS:

20/03299/FULL

Waterloo Yard, Waterloo Road, Cranbrook, Kent TN17 3JQ

Proposed extension and alteration to roof form and external materials to an existing garage building to form a 1.5 storey home office / studio, ancillary store serving the private dwelling of Waterloo Yard.

The Parish Council recommended APPROVAL proposed by Cllr. Smith, seconded by Cllr. Fermor and agreed on condition that this new property should be ancillary to the main dwelling and not sold off in the future.

Proposed detached, single storey, three bedroom dwelling together with associated driveway, parking area and private amenity space at land to the rear of Filwood.

The Parish Council recommended REFUSAL for the following reasons:

  • Compact site rear of existing property
  • Access on to busy A229
  • Damage to trees

Proposed by Cllr. Bunyan, seconded by Cllr. Smith and agreed.

The Parish Council recommended APPROVAL proposed by Cllr. Fermor, seconded by

Cllr. Gilbert and agreed.

The Parish Council recommended APPROVAL proposed by Cllr. Smith, seconded by

Listed Building Consent: Install vent grill to front stall riser

The Parish Council recommended APPROVAL proposed by Cllr. Hatcher, seconded by

Cllr. Gilbert and agreed.  The Parish Council recommended a more robust material to be used for the vent.

The Clerk read out the Planning Decisions received from Tunbridge Wells Borough Council

TREE PRESERVATION ORDER:  None received

Members were asked to forward any comments on TWBC Local Green Space Consultation direct to Cllr. Warne today as she had kindly agreed to compile a response.
