BUDGET:

Cllr. Smith recommended that the £2,500 donated to CPRE should be replaced to bring the budget up to £5,000 seconded by Cllr. Bunyan and agreed.

In view of comments received from neighbours the Parish Council recommended REFUSAL for the following reasons:

  • Outside Limits to Build Development
  • Within the AONB
  • Impact on neighbouring properties
  • Next to a Grade II Listed Building
  • Outside curtilage of main dwelling
  • Existing buildings could be repurposed

Trees in a Conservation Area Notification; 1x Magnolia – Carry out approximate 30 percent reduction with a proportional width reduction to the Western side cutting back to appropriate branch axils. On the Eastern side over the neighbour’s property cut back to the boundary as far as possible keeping the pruning cuts as small as possible. 

The Parish Council agreed to leave this decision to Tunbridge Wells Borough Council Tree Officer due to lack of information such as age of tree, height and photos.  Proposed by Cllr. Fermor, seconded by Cllr. Smith and agreed.

The Clerk read out the decisions received from Tunbridge Wells Borough Council.

Cllr. Smith informed the Committee that Fernham Homes had submitted the St. Georges Institute plans to Tunbridge Wells Borough Council
