The Parish Council recommended APPROVAL proposed by Cllr. Smith, seconded by Cllr. Gilbert and agreed.

Rear extension and new driveway and parking area with landscaping. 

The Parish Council recommended REFUSAL for the following reasons:

  • Size and scale of proposed extension not modest in size
  • Effect on wildlife conservation regarding removal of hedge, also next to ancient woodland

The Parish Council recommended APPROVAL proposed by Cllr. Gilbert, seconded by Cllr. Smith and agreed, subject to the views of the Conservation Architect and on condition that the proposed conversion remains ancillary to the existing property.

Prior Notification for the change of use of a building and land within its curtilage from an agricultural use to a use falling within Class C3 (Dwelling house) and building operations reasonably necessary to convert the building For it’s prior approval to: – Transport and highways impacts; – Noise impacts; – Contamination risk; – Flooding risks; – Whether location or siting makes it impractical or undesirable – Design or external appearance – The provision of adequate natural light in all habitable rooms of the dwelling houses 

The Parish Council recommended REFUSAL for the following reasons:

  • Highway access safety concerns as this would have to be on to Frittenden Road as the alternative route is private property
  • Curtilage not identified
  • More detail on proposed parking required
  • Unsustainable development
