Please see below information from the Co-op, Cranbrook…
Hello! My name is Emma, I’m the Co-op Member Pioneer for the Cranbrook Area.
I’m contacting you because I’m keen to connect with groups doing great things for the local community and find ways Co-op can support this!
Would you like to share what you are working on and hear more about the Co-op’s work in Cranbrook? Then I’d love to hear from you! You can reply to this email or find my contact details at the bottom of the page.
I am excited to let you know that the Local Community Fund applications will be open from 4th – 30th May!
The Co-op Local Community Fund supports projects across the UK that our members care about. Thanks to our members, we’ve delivered £15m to over 4,500 local causes.
From 4th May, groups can apply for funding if they are looking to deliver a project that:
1. Enables people to access food and co-operate together to feed everyone
2. Helps improve people’s mental wellbeing
3. Offers young people opportunities to develop new skills and make a difference in their community
If this sounds like you then we would love for you to apply! If you know of other local groups championing any of these 3 aims and might benefit from funding then do share this with them. For full details of eligibility and how to apply from 4th – 30th May, please click the link here.
We will also be hosting Join in Live on 26th May at 4pm
This is a free online event celebrating how membership not only benefits our Members but also the community around Cranbrook. Attendees will be able to ask questions to the panel, talk about what’s going on in Cranbrook and also be in with a chance to win £50 of Co-op vouchers to spend in store. Full details can be found through the EventBrite Link by clicking here, and the Facebook event can be found here.
More events coming soon, including a car wash to raise funds for MIND Charity during May and Community Litter Pick 16th May.
To be notified of more events like this, connect with Co-op Cranbrook on Facebook.
If you have any questions or comments do let me know.
Wishing you all the best,
Co-op Member Pioneer for Cranbrook
