Erection of access gates to the existing entrance, together with new boundary treatment in the form of a timber fence to provide visual and acoustic screening from the highway; removal of existing summerhouse and replacement with new larger summerhouse.

The Parish Council recommended APPROVAL on condition that the hedge remains on the highway side of the fence proposed by Cllr. Fermor, seconded by Cllr. Hatcher and agreed.

TWBC PLANNING DECISIONS:

The Clerk read out the decisions received from Tunbridge Wells Borough Council.

ANY OTHER BUSINESS:

Cllr. Bunyan gave a brief report on the meeting held with Mr. Hicken who had bought part of the former Cranbrook Golf Club.  Cllr. Hatcher had also been in attendance.   Mr Hicken had put forward several ideas mainly to do with tourism.  He hoped to put an application in to Tunbridge Wells later in the summer.  The Councillors did not express an opinion but asked about bus services and access to public footpaths in the area.
