The demolition of an unclassified ‘sui generis’ outbuilding at the rear of 23 Stone Street and replacement with a two-bedroom dwelling.

The Parish Council recommended REFUSAL for the following reasons:

  • Based on the KCC Archaeological Comments
  • In the Conservation Area
  • Over development of site
  • New dwelling with very little outside space
  • Serious concern about construction traffic
  • Risk to stability of neighbouring properties

  1. a) Street naming in Sissinghurst High Street – Correspondence had been received regarding the new development. The Parish Council had not put forward any suggestions. It was noted that if family names were to be consider permission from the family had to be obtained.
  2. b) Trenley Farm – Correspondence had been received regarding sewage problems in the area. Contact should be made direct to TWBC Planning Enforcement Officer.
