Demolition of existing pole barn.  Removal of static caravan, construction of annexe.

The Parish Council recommended APPROVAL on condition that the annexe remains ancillary to the main property.  Proposed by Cllr. Hatcher, seconded by Carol Somers and agreed.

The applicant was in attendance and welcomed the suggestion by Cllr. Bunyan to receive a copy of the Parish Councils eco design guide. The Clerk will email the applicant a copy.

Installation of 8 flood lights to the outdoor sand school and their use between 4pm and 7.30pm October to April during term time only.

The Parish Council recommended APPROVAL. Proposed by Cllr. Somers, seconded by Cllr. Kings and agreed.

Although the Parish Council did not object to development in principle, they recommended REFUSAL for the following reasons:

  • The size of the proposed property does not meet local need
  • Overlooking/loss of privacy for the bungalow in Wheatfield Way
  • Flood risk from surface water run off
