PLANNING APPLICATIONS:

21/00467/FULL
Hartridge Manor Farm, Paley Lane, Cranbrook TN17 2NA

Provision of a stable block providing two stable bays, a secure tack room/store and an open bay shelter for tractor storage within a 3.0 acre paddock; relocation of solar panel to roof.

The Parish Council recommended APPROVAL proposed by Cllr. Bunyan, seconded by Cllr. Gilbert and agreed, subject to an agreed provision for the removal of animal waste regularly.

Creation of driveway (Retrospective) 

The Parish Council recommended REFUSAL for the following reasons:

  • Access – Highway safety concerns
  • Using rural land for industrial purposes

Proposed by Cllr. Kings, seconded by Cllr. Gilbert and agreed.

Change of Use from agricultural land to create a wildlife pond in field of improved grassland.

The Parish Council recommended APPROVAL proposed by Cllr. Hatcher, seconded by Cllr. Fermor and agreed.

Proposed demolition of existing dwelling and construction of a replacement dwelling.

The Parish Council recommended APPROVAL proposed by Cllr. Bunyan, seconded by

Cllr. Fermor and agreed.  Councillors were concerned regarding the height of the replacement dwelling which could be reduced by changing the pitch of the roof.  The existing bungalow to be demolished as soon as new property is built and the established trees should be protected.

Proposed front porch extension; garage conversion to lounge and utility, including replacement of existing garage door with window.

The Parish Council recommended APPROVAL proposed by Cllr. Gilbert, seconded by Cllr. Kings and agreed, subject to parking being adequate without the need to park in Dorothy Avenue.

The Deputy Clerk read out the planning decisions.

ITEMS FOR INFORMATION: 

Cllr. Kings reported several possible breach of planning regulations, these can be reported straight on to Tunbridge Wells Borough Council’s Planning Portal.
