The Katherine Elisabeth Wood Trust is a fund that was set up by the will of Katharine Alice Wood many years ago, with money left to help those in the Parish of Cranbrook who most needed it.
The grants from the trust are designed (among other things) to help young people with ‘training, school or college expenses, equipment, tools, special clothing’ etc.
Recently we have given small grants towards; a set of knives for a trainee chef, accommodation fees for a budding young actor at drama school and fees for a book keeping course to name just a few.
