Addition of wooden frame pergolas to patio area and existing garage/annexe. Erection of enclosed bin store, erection of pool plan housing, erection of light weight framed flat roof study annexe.  Addition of tiled roof canopy car port to existing annexe. Installation of PV panels on annexe roof, alterations to proposed house extension glazing on previously consented applications no 22/01957/FULL and 22/01958/LBC

The Parish Council recommended APPROVAL proposed by Cllr. Bunyan, seconded by

Cllr. Hatcher and agreed.  The Parish Council suggested moving the bin store to the other side of the driveway to facilitate access to the new car port.

Proposed new 2 bedroom dwelling within the amenity curtilage of Stoke House, and new highway access to High Street serving both existing and proposed dwelling.

The Parish Council were NEUTRAL regarding this application because it was considered that the original reasons for refusal by Tunbridge Wells Borough had not been fully addressed.  Proposed by Cllr. Hacher, seconded Cllr. Kings and agreed.

The Parish Council recommended REFUSAL for the following reasons:

  • The proposed access track is the prime pedestrian and cycle route for the proposed Brick Kiln Farm large development site.
  • Over-intensive use of site

Cranbrook RFC Angley Road Cranbrook Kent TN17 2PN

Partial demolition of existing clubhouse facilities and complete demolition of existing cricket pavilion. Erection of 2-storey detached clubhouse with changing and amenity space with ancillary 2-bay cricket net installation. Associated hard and soft landscaping scheme.

The Parish Council recommended APPROVAL. They wished for it to be noted that the proposed application is on land owned by the Tomlin Murton Playing Fields Trust which is leased to Cranbrook RFC by the charity and that the Parish Council are sole trustees of that charity. That being said, Members agreed that the proposed improvements would create an excellent facility for Cranbrook.  Members also noted that there was no provision for an accessible w.c. on the first floor and felt the design could be reconfigured to ease the movement of supplies to the kitchen area and hoped that the harnessing of solar power for water heating could be considered.

The Parish Council recommended APPROVAL proposed by Cllr Hatcher seconded by Cllr. Bunyan and agreed, subject to the views of TWBC Tree Officer.
