My name is Ant Tomlinson and I was born and bred in Nottingham. I moved down south in 2006 to join my girlfriend Charlie (now wife) in London until we had our son Luca in 2012, which was soon followed by a move to Cranbrook later that year. I launched my own web design company, Clever Little Fishes, during the same year and this business thrived until 2019 when I decided to try pastures new. We were joined by our daughter Olive in 2015, with both children attending Colliers Green Primary School. I’ve recently co-founded Cranbrook Juniors Football Club and also joined the staff at Cranbrook School as a Development Officer. Obviously I have a passion for football but I also have a keen interest in street photography, as well as being an active volunteer at the Windmill since 2013 (milling duties on the horizon!). I believe that now having become a Parish Councillor, I will be able to share my views and experiences of living close to the centre of Cranbrook, raise concerns and/or suggestions on how to improve the area as well as potentially being a good representative for a younger generation. Finally, I’m very keen to be involved with anything that would go someway to ensuring that children and their families within our parish have the best possible future whilst doing my bit to try and retain Cranbrook’s community spirit and values.
