TWBC PLANNING DECISIONS

CORRESPONDENCE

An email had been received from a neighbouring property of planning application 21/02289/FULL Buckhurst Farm, Sissinghurst Road, Sissinghurst. They were surprised that neither the application being in the ANOB or the potential over development of the site, were mentioned as further reasons for recommending refusal. There had also been no mention of the adverse effect on the unadopted lane that cesses the site in our response.

Members agreed that there had been no need to mention the location as being in the ANOB as it is already listed as a constraint on the application. With regard to access, KCC Highways would raise any concerns in their role as statutory consultee, their response had already been noted on the application. The Committees main concern remains the size of the dwelling. Neighbours are always encouraged to submit their own comments on the TWBC planning portal.

ITEMS FOR INFORMATION:

Cllr. Bunyan stated she was looking forward to receiving more information and detail on the plans for the new village hall in Sissinghurst.
